Been working away at the initial London and adult entertainment scene.... its a massive scene cos there's so many parts to it....many of them not done yet.
The main character is basically a big thinker but not much of a talker. It's kind of worked out like this almost accidentally. Because when I am writing conversation scenes it is about developing the personalities of the other characters, whereas any speech from the main character doesn't really add to his personality, which is already well established.
So.. the main character is shy and quiet, and that way it makes sense. And then that is contrasted with lots of "thinking" scenes and moments.
Through the book, the main character makes progressions and changes but they are mostly inside himself rather than through the interactions and other people he meets.
