Characters and speech

Developing my characters and their speech this morning.


Main Characters -

Mark - based on my friend in London. Mark is the link to the adult entertainment world, nd that side of the story.

Rufus - Actually of anyone, Rufus is mostly based on my old friend Kieran White. The main reasons of Rufus being in the book is 1) he's a musician, hence an artist - so a great avenue for wisdom and someone to look up to. .. 2) A very free-spirited and larger-than-life character, creating a nice contrast with the storyteller.

James - Based on Jim from the radio station. A balance of authority, quirkyness and wisdom.

Dominic - Based on my friend Rich - an eccentric unusual character, with very stand-out mannerisms and a lot of good qualities/traits in there.

Simon - Based on my friend Simon from the radio. A younger character - one of the best facets here is adding excitement, ambition and energy to the story.

Olia - Use as various emotional points - love interest, and someone whose story evolves a lot throughout the book.

Claire - Based mostly on my friend Lexi, with splasehes of other people in there. Very much a confidante, and outlet for wisdom, and alternate outlooks in the book.

The Counsellor - Self-explanatory really.


That's them all. I don't think there will be any more main characters introduced.
