Fluffy Gosling Attack

oh those goslings don't show up very well. They do when the picture is big, but the picture isn't big. It's all going pear-shaped.

Continuing my catch-up blog... Sunday was a sad day for York City, but there's a lot of HOPE and optimism for next season... sad result, but great day apart from that... came back to kings cross, had more drinks, and i also nipped off to catch up with Phil cos i hadn't seen him since February - was great to see him.

Monday, went for a meal at Ha Ha Bar with my Mum. She loved it, and she was so talkative, which was lovely to see. I love seeing my mum happy! I think the world of her.
Sometimes I think she would have liked a daughter to talk about things like crafts and shopping and baking and all the girly things. Well, I know she would have liked a daughter, bless her.

Tuesday, got back to The Habit, drinking with Chris and James. I added my Lemons quote to their quote wall. Picking one quote is always hard.... and the great thing about the quote wall there, is everyone can just pick one thing to say, and its interesting seeing what statement people make with just one quote. It really goes to show that everyone is different in what is important to them.

Wednesday, had a really cool night at the hospital radio AGM and then in the pub afterwards. Highlights of the meeting included the news that new football commentators will be needed at York City at some point (i have applied!!!!) and the start of "Friends of York Hospital Radio" for people who can get involved but not be members. Caught up with Jen - what a wonderful friend, made me realise that I miss the nights we used to spend training to be presenters and the enthusiasm and the dream etc etc etc.... Met some new members (always exciting!!!) and chatted with John Hodgson about how I should do my first updates on the Web site, and am gonna meet with him the week after next to do that!!!!

Thursday, had a meal at Ha Ha Bar (again :-) ) with my friend Ruth... She bought me flowers... no-one ever buys me flowers so that's really sweet....a really kind friend and one who doesn't mind me being really childish and carefree!

Last night, worked with some great people on Samaritans overnight, and had such a laugh. Especially at the name Margo. I didn't think anyone was really called Margo except that woman off the Good Life and she's not real. It would be cool to grow your own veg like that.
