9,000.
last of the deep stuff.. gonna concentrate on plot progression now...
here's some light-hearted snippets...
~~
"It's exactly 10:30am. I know that because my Mum told me just now on a voicemail she left. Why does she do that?
"Hi Robert, it's 10:30. I'm just calling because....."
Why does she do it? Does she think I have no idea of the time and need to be informed? Or that it may help in some way if I decide to manually log all my voice messages on to a chart, ordered by time and date?
It's always the start of the call when she says it. So it's like... "I'm introducing myself as your Mum, and now here's the time."
Forget the speaking clock, just give my Mum a call. And while you're on, ask her if she's sponsored by Accurist.
Remember when we were kids and had arguments about whose watch is telling the correct time, and you could always win the argument by saying "Mine's right, because my watch is set to Big Ben!!"
Let's face it, there was absolutely nothing anyone could say to top that. And you always believed it too. And pictured them in London, looking up at Big Ben and setting their watch accordingly, with the knowledge that they could now win any future arguments about the time."
