More editing. The idea is that the main character starts off as a geeky hermit (that's been very easy to write this past week!) and gradually grows in confidence, hopefulness and wisdom.
I've got all kinds of bits and bobs I've written as extras, which I'm now slotting into the right places, joining everything up.

Repeating this little song to myself in a jolly way, while strolling in the sunshine made me feel new and fresh and hopeful. I never did think of a second verse."
